Department of Genetics develops activities in the areas of Plant Cell and Molecular Biology; Population Biology and Dynamic Evolution of Plants; Plant Cytogenetics; Microbial Genetics; Poultry Genetic Improvement; Physiological Genetics and Biochemistry; Quantitative Genetics and Plant Breeding.

Undergraduate

It offers undergraduate courses for programs in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Management, Food Science and Biological Sciences.

Graduate

Its faculty participates in a graduate programs in Plant Genetics and Breeding and also in the international program in Cellular and Molecular Plant Biology.
