Plant–pathogen interactions, with emphasis on molecular mechanisms of recognition, signaling, and regulation of defense responses, as well as determinants of virulence and resistance in agricultural systems.

Genomics and transcriptomics of plant–microorganism systems, integration of multi-omics data and systems biology analyses, combined with experimental strategies for functional validation.
